A 26-year-old foreigner was arrested, as part of the spontaneous procedure, on Thursday morning (29/2) in the center of Athens, by police officers of the ACTION Team of the Attica Security Directorate, for disobedience, violence against employees, violation of the laws on weapons and drugs . In addition, a 24-year-old foreigner was arrested for disloyalty and violence against employees.
In particular, according to the Police, police officers during patrol spotted a vehicle on a street in the center of Athens, with 2 occupants and called them in for a check.
The occupants did not obey and developed speed trying to escape.
As emphasized in the ELAS announcement, the police officers followed the vehicle, observing safety measures, which collided with parked vehicles on an adjacent road.
In the possession of the 26-year-old, among other things, a pistol with 8 cartridges and a quantity of 2 grams of raw cannabis was found and confiscated.
Those arrested, with the case filed against them by the Athens Security Sub-Directorate, were taken to the competent Prosecutor.
