This Sunday morning around 3 a.m., a couple from Verviétois, returning from a wedding, went to the Guillemins station in Liège to take the train and go home. The problem is that this couple was stuck in the station elevator for half an hour, while Sécurail came to deliver them.
In the meantime, the couple argued and Fernandes, 31, hit his partner with a drink, presumably washed away at the wedding. A companion who had a wound with blood flowing to her face and who had to receive stitches. She has a 15-day incapacity for work. Fernandes was already sentenced last June for other domestic violence against his partner. He was arrested by the police and referred to the Liège prosecutor’s office this Sunday morning. The case has been put under investigation with a request for an arrest warrant.
