The footage is from Kapama Private Game Reserve in South Africa. In the footage, the lion is seen getting thirsty in the lake. There is also a herd of hippopotamus nearby. The hippopotamus suddenly rushed towards the lion without any provocation. A frightened lion can also be clearly seen in the footage. Comments go like hippopotamus might have saved the baby from the lion, who is the real king.
More than 1 lakh people have already watched the video. Hippopotamuses are reportedly the most dangerous land mammal. In Africa alone, around 500 people are killed by hippopotamus attacks every year. Sharp teeth are its specialty. Most of the time they are found in water bodies to keep their body cool.
