According to the New York Post, a South African priest asked for the hand of a grieving girl in the middle of her father’s funeral, just feet from the coffin.
The newspaper pointed out that the priest who was presiding over the mass asked the woman’s hand to help heal her broken heart.
And she noted, “The proposal’s video has received more than 278,000 views, as critics accuse the man of making a sad occasion for himself.”
