A NetherRealm developer leaks the existence of Mortal Kombat 12 by “accident”

NetherRealm is undoubtedly one of the studios that has improved the most over time, developing titles that with each installment do nothing more than innovate and exponentially improve everything they had done before.

That is why the possibility of a new Injustice or even Mortal Kombat, excites all of us who knew how to fall in love with his most recent titles, and that without a doubt today begins to take a little shape thanks to a small “leak” carried out by one of the studio’s producers.

This is the clue that would confirm the existence of Mortal Kombat 12

And it is that a few hours ago the producer Jonathan Andersen shared through Twitter a photo (which he deleted and was reuploaded by a Resetera user) in which you can see several images related to MK and MK2, as well as an image of Brainiac from Injustice 2, and a Wonder Woman conceptual art which could be an alternative version of the design that the character had in said game, or even a new one that we could see in a hypothetical Injustice 3.

Likewise, the interesting thing comes when we see the screen that is located at the top right, which not only has an email written by “Christine” (which is probably Christine Letheby, NetherRealm Production Manager) where you can read a line what does it say “our fans eagerly scour the internet for any trace“, but also you can see a file which says “MK12_Mast…”. Given the fact that Ed Boon is known to be a bit of a troll, and that this situation is very reminiscent of those in Melissa McGamepassIt is likely that this is not a bug or accidental leak, but at the moment we have no choice but to wait for an official confirmation from either Mortal Kombat or Injustice.
