The retired artist, Zizi Adel, said that if time returned, she would not experience the Star Academy program, which she participated in one of its seasons years ago, and was the reason for her fame.
And she added in the program “Kalam al-Nas” shown on MBC Egypt and presented by the presenter, Yasmine Ezz: “Honestly, if time returned to me, I certainly wouldn’t have gone because of my decisions now, changing my thinking, and getting closer to our Lord. “.
And she continued, “Star Academy, my experience, the beginning of success and launch. After the program, I went down and found myself famous, although I did not have songs or albums, but I was famous, as if I had been singing for 10 years. I did not believe receiving people at the airport because there was no television, nor did I have a mobile phone. I did not know what was going on outside. After you look, you will be shocked that you are famous and well-known.
And she revealed a surprise, after Yasmine asked whether cameras were present everywhere in the program, to which Zizi replied, “Everywhere there was a camera. The bathrooms had cameras, but not in the toilet itself, but in front of the sinks and mirrors, and you were washing your hands and there were cameras in it, and that’s it.” A little bit annoying, and for the first few days I felt like I was being watched.”
In April 2022, the artist, Zizi Adel, decided to retire from singing, and published a video clip on her account on the “Instagram” website, in which she said: “I am going to say a very important news that I took in my life, and it may be the most important news that I took in my life, which is the decision to retire. I decided to leave the profession.” which I work.”

And she continued: “The past period brought me very close to our Lord, and I met the Qur’an telling me that I must be committed. I wear the hijab, and every need comes step by step, there is no need that comes at once, because I took a step and, God willing, the next step will come.”
And she went on: “I also want to tell you that with regard to art, it is the source of my income. I sat out a need to live from it, but I sat this Saturday and I know that our Lord will bless me. Very much, and he loved what came from my life, and maybe after I made this decision, I was subjected to test situations from our Lord, and when I asked the people of knowledge, they told me about this, and I was under pressure to agree or disagree, and the test was a little difficult for me, especially since human beings are weak, and maybe The show that came to me, I am practicing the profession, and thank God I was able to stand with the support of the people around me.
Zizi Adel added: “I do not want to be afraid of art being permissible and art is forbidden, because I no longer want to speak as if I am a preacher. We wished for something like this, and I wanted to die to be ready to meet our Lord, and to be satisfied with myself, my life, my person, and my actions.
Zizi Adel was born on October 26, 1987. She started her career after graduating from the Institute of Arab Music. Her artistic debut was with the competition program “Star Academy”, and she succeeded in proving her talent in a short time. Then she joined Rotana and released her first album entitled “One Good Thing”. It was a good success, and then she released her second album, “Waad Alia”, and she filmed many music videos that were well received by her fans.
