Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi has introduced a new plan to deal with climate change. The project aims to reduce carbon emissions by 22 percent within five years. The project was launched by the Meteorological Agency of Abu Dhabi. The agency will implement 81 initiatives and 12 major projects to reduce carbon emissions.
The main objective of the project is to keep the average rise in air temperature between 1.5 degrees Celsius and 2 degrees Celsius. The project also aims to attract investments that are part of a safe and sustainable economy. Environmentally friendly projects will also be encouraged.

Dinata with massive recruitment; Employment opportunities for thousands of people
Dubai: Dinata, an airport and travel services company under the Emirates Group, has announced a massive recruitment drive. Dinata is planning to increase the number of employees globally. The company plans to hire 7,000 more employees globally.
The company’s new decision comes amid expectations of stronger travel demand. The company is also aiming for a huge profit increase in the financial year 2023-24. Of the 7,000 vacancies, 1,500 will be recruited from Dubai, The National reported, quoting Denata Group Chief Executive Steve Allen. Dinata will be recruiting for Airport Customer Service, Baggage Handling, Kitchen Staff, Call Center Operators and Travel Agencies posts.
Apart from this, there are vacancies in skilled occupations such as chef, data scientist and other management posts. Last year too, Denata had increased the number of employees by 17 percent. The appointment is on annual contract basis. Dinata currently has 46,000 employees.
