Al-Marsad Newspaper: During the past hours, a video clip of a Lebanese young woman shooting and killing a dog has spread on social media in Lebanon, without any hesitation, sparking outrage from activists and those interested in animal rights.
Cause of murder
According to the “Sky News Arabia” website, eyewitnesses in the town said that the mother did it as a reaction to what happened to her daughter, who was a friend of the dog, after he attacked her and left scars on her face represented by 24 stitches, which caused a psychological crisis for the little girl, who refused to go out. From home after undergoing surgery at Hamed Farhat Hospital in the town of Jib Jenin a few days ago.
For her part, mother Salma Abu Khaddour Ghandour said, on her Facebook page: “Those who objected to the shooting suddenly did not see my daughter’s face and how distorted it is. Some do not think that I am happy that I killed the dog and I simply saved my daughter and her shattered psyche.
She added, “I raise dogs and cats, and I hope that no one will rush to judge me. I wish we had seen this humanity when my daughter was undergoing surgeries.”
