Ahead of this event, the developers wanted to give an in-depth look at what was planned for this anniversary for Season 3 ofAge of Empires IV.
Some of the new features to come soon presented in advance
With the arrival of Age of Empires IV: Anniversary Edition and Anniversary Season Three, great new features will land in the game like new civilizations, new challenges, achievements and new features.
Who says new civilizations says new strategies and game approaches, especially with the Malians and the Ottomans. The toughest competitors will be able to compete with the 1v1 solo leaderboards or with friends in the brand new team leaderboard. Here’s that first look at what’s new arriving next week in Age of Empires IV :
- Two new civilizations, the Ottomans and the Malians, along with their corresponding Art of War challenges, masteries and achievements!
- The start of the third season of the ranking, the introduction of the team ranking and brand new rewards!
- Use Taunts against your opponents and spice up your games with Cheats!
- Eight new maps and two new biomes!
- The naval balance revamp brings new possibilities to naval matches!
- Waypoint markers to define unit trajectories!
