This Sunday, three people of Albanian origin were arrested in connection with drug trafficking. Around 3:30 p.m., a rental Mercedes, registered in Luxembourg, overtook an unmarked police car for the first time, on the E411 towards Luxembourg. The driver passes the vehicle several times, prompting the police to intervene.
The car was intercepted at the Salazine rest area, in Sovet (Ciney). According to the Namur public prosecutor’s office, the police found two kilos of cannabis in the vehicle, packaged in small bags, ready for sale. The three occupants were also carrying four mobile phones and €200 in cash. The police therefore suspect drug trafficking and arrest the people.
