Alexander Dugin’s first comment on the murder of his daughter: Our hearts yearn for more than just revenge

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN)–In his first comment on the murder of his daughter, Russian philosopher Alexander Dugin, who is close to President Vladimir Putin and is described as “Putin’s brain”, blamed what he described as the “Ukrainian Nazi regime” for his daughter’s death. Daria Dugina.

Dugin issued a statement on his friend Konstantin Malofeev’s Telegram channel, saying: “As a result of a terrorist attack carried out by the Ukrainian Nazi regime, on August 20, on her return from a traditional festival near Moscow, my daughter Daria Dugina was brutally killed in an explosion before my eyes.”

“She was a beautiful orthodox girl, a patriot, a military correspondent, an expert on central channels, and a philosopher,” Dugin said of his daughter. “Her speeches and reports were always deep, solid and disciplined, and she never called for violence and war.”

He added, “She was a rising star at the beginning of her journey. The enemies of Russia surreptitiously killed her.. But we, our people, cannot be broken even by such intolerable blows. They wanted to crush our will with a bloody terror against the best and most vulnerable among us. But they will not achieve it.”

Dugin continued: “Our hearts yearn for more than just revenge or retribution, it’s a small matter and not the Russian style, we just need our victory. My daughter has put her first life on her altar. So please win!” He indicated that the memorial service for Dugina will be held on Tuesday.
