A woman and her partner were apprehended by officials of the Municipal Police of Baruta, after the alleged mistreatment of a three-year-old boy in the Las Minitas sector (Miranda state).
According to the official report and what was published by the Diario 2001, it is the mother (24 years old) and the stepfather (21).
Apparently, the child’s father had alerted the authorities of the attack and the police officers went to the house where the couple lived with the child.
