Al-Marsad Newspaper-SPA: The Riyadh Municipality issued 10 warnings and instructions when it rains in the capital, in order to preserve the safety of residents and visitors from the risks resulting from rain water.
The alerts included the need to follow up on the weather and the warnings of official authorities about the rainy situation, to stay in homes when it rains heavily, and to stay away from water gathering sites and electricity sources in public places.
The instructions also included not risking cutting rainwater and torrents, reporting rainwater pools by calling the Municipality Center 940, and making room for equipment and mechanisms to withdraw rainwater.
The warnings included staying away from the sites of trees to avoid them falling as a result of storms and strong winds, avoiding sitting near the edges of valleys, and not leaving children alone in water gathering places.
