“Hezbollah” and its political, media and propaganda affiliates launched a violent campaign against the judicial investigator, Tariq Al-Bitar, accusing him of carrying out American orders, against the background of the “possible” release of the head of the Security and Safety Authority in the Beirut port, Muhammad Ziyad Al-Awf, when it exploded on the fourth of August. (August) 2020, but the farrier thwarted their hopes by rejecting the release requests submitted by Al-Awf and others.
It was noted that all those who undertook the task of destroying Al-Bitar increased the pace of advocacy for the discriminatory public prosecutor, Ghassan Oweidat, when he turned against Al-Bitar and released Al-Awf, postponing the issuance of a travel ban, so that he could leave Lebanon, as he went from prison to the airport.
Allowing Al-Awf the opportunity to leave Lebanon was not due to negligence, as Oweidat, when he issued his claim decision against the judicial investigator Al-Bitar, did not forget to accompany him by preventing him from traveling and stressing the necessity of immediate implementation.
This is not the first time that “Hezbollah” and its “companions” have adopted this method. Rather, it has become a method of action. They launch an attack on those who do not abide by their orders, accusing them of carrying out American orders. Achieve the act that the Americans are satisfied with.
This is exactly what happened previously in many files, including, for example, the release of the convict, Amer Fakhoury, and going to sign the maritime border demarcation agreement with Israel.
This is a very dangerous approach, as “Hezbollah” and its “companions” in Lebanon succeed in showing their opponents to the international community in general and the United States of America in particular, that they are unable to provide them with any services in Lebanon, and they rush, when this inability is proven, to provide services. They demand, in return, to turn a blind eye to the transgressions they commit in the same file or in other files.
In this sense, the team keen on the proper conduct of justice in the Beirut port file, led by investigator Al-Bitar, refused to release Al-Awf, according to the American desire, because his position in the port explosion file is very accurate, given the nature of the job that was assigned to him, but the team that rejects the path he adopted Al-Bitar, in the investigations, released Al-Auf and allowed him to leave Lebanon, thus obtaining American condonance for torpedoing the course of investigations into the Beirut port explosion file.

Regardless of the file of the Beirut port explosion and the requirements for the integrity of the investigations, the opponents of “Hezbollah” in Lebanon are now facing a difficult choice that must be resolved, as they appear before the international community helpless, thus paving the way for “Hezbollah” and its “companions” to prove that they are They are the right choice.
An external conviction has been formed that their interests in Lebanon cannot be secured in the hands of the parties that are closer to them, but rather in the hands of the party that they are hostile to. Therefore, this outside, out of concern for interests, turns a blind eye to the control of the party and its allies over power in Lebanon and the path that they chart for any A file of files dealing with Lebanese affairs.
