An indigenous woman died in La Florida Park, in Bogotá – Bogotá

Francisca Borocuara, an indigenous woman from the Emberá community, died this Tuesday at the Comprehensive Protection Unit (UPI) in Florida.where dozens of indigenous people have agreed to be transferred voluntarily to continue with their processes of return to their territories.

As one of the community leaders confirmed to this newspaper, the deceased woman was 56 years old and came ill “from the territory” His health condition, he indicated, would have been aggravated by the conditions in which he lived at the UPI. The District Secretary of Health referred to the events that occurred before the death of the indigenous woman.
