The lady was in an emergency “box”, unconscious, when another patient attacked her, no doubt taking advantage of a moment of inattention. The man would have removed her diaper to rape her, as indicated by our colleagues from the DH.
The information was confirmed by the Charleroi prosecutor’s office: “An elderly person was at Notre-Dame hospital and was raped by a younger person. He was not someone from the outside, but a patient as well. We do not know more regarding the context but a medical examiner went on site to make the first findings. The file has been put to the instruction, we will know more tomorrow. The perpetrator, according to the DH, has been identified.
The aggression also went up to the Ghdc. “We have been informed of certain facts. We are awaiting the results of the ongoing investigation to qualify the exact content of the facts,” said the spokesperson.
