Apple is preparing to set up a subscription service for certain devices, such as the iPhone.
Instead of having to pay several hundred euros all at once for a phone or tablet, it would be possible to pay in several monthly instalments.
This service could be launched by the end of the year, indicates the financial press agency Bloomberg on the basis of sources familiar with the matter.
Apple already works for its Apple Music and iCloud cloud music streaming services with monthly payments.
The apple giant would thus hope to generate additional income.
