The iPhone 14 Pro would abandon the notch inherited from the iPhone X in favor of two holes that would be combined into one when using the device.
Apple is rumored to be ditching the notch at the top of the display for its iPhone 14 Pro and replacing it with two holes. The first would include the front camera and the second, more elongated, would house the TrueDepth sensors for Face ID facial recognition. But the manufacturer would have considered that this was not aesthetic enough and would have opted for an original display system, as shown in the image below, published on a Chinese social network and in theory coming from a Foxconn employee :
The principle is simple: turn off the pixels between the two holes to generate a large elongated hole. Journalist Mark Gurman of Bloomberg believe this rumor to be true, arguing that the separation between the two holes would make the display look odd when using the device.

According to our colleagues from 9TO5Mac, the space between the two holes could be used to display the green and orange luminous dots that indicate the use of the microphone and the camera by an application. These small dots normally appear at the top right of the screen, above the phone signal reception status indicator.
You will have to wait for the official presentation of Applescheduled for Wednesday, September 7, to see if the concept of the two holes is verified and if the space between the two is automatically made black when using the smartphone.
Remember that the iPhone 14 Pro should be distinguished from the 14 model by the arrival of a new SoC (A16 Bionic), a 120 Hz LTPO screen and a main photo sensor of 48 megapixels instead of 12 megapixels, which would have forced Apple to increase the size of the photo block. The iPhone 14 Pro would come in 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch versions, like the iPhone 14.
