This morning, 12/4, according to the Dusseldorf public prosecutor’s office, four teenagers between 13 and 16 years old were arrested. They are three young girls and a young boy.
The mastermind of the Islamist terrorist cell is said to be a 16-year-old from Hagen in North Rhine-Westphalia, of Moroccan descent and a father known for Islamist activity to the German authorities.
The rest of the students, members of the terrorist cell, come from Munich and Dusseldorf, all recruited members of the Islamic State, who even carried weapons.
Target churches, synagogues, sports fields
According to the German police, the Islamist terrorist cell was planning terrorist attacks mainly on churches and synagogues against “infidels”, but also on sports facilities in the cities of Dusseldorf, Dortmund and Cologne in North Rhine-Westphalia.
The core was dismantled by the German authorities through dialogues in an application on mobile phones, where they said they were ready to carry out terrorist acts. Preparatory actions are said to have already begun.
