Saturday afternoon, the police arrested an individual after spotting a suspicious vehicle traveling near Bassenge, towards Liège.
During the check, the Liège bloodhounds got their hands on 350 grams of heroin and 28 grams of hashish. All for a resale value of several thousand euros. The man, named Ibrahim, a Dutch resident, admitted that he was involved in drug trafficking and, better, that he was part of an organized network.
Known for… Murder
Ibrahim is well known to the courts. He has a specific background since he has already been sentenced for offenses against the law on narcotic products but also for… murder. On Saturday, he was therefore deprived of his liberty and heard at length by the investigators, in particular on the organization of the network of which he is a part.
Sunday morning, he was referred to the Liège public prosecutor’s office where the magistrate on duty put the file under investigation with a request for an arrest warrant.
