Azul began yesterday (30), the operation that connects BH Airport, in Confins, to the city of Teresina, capital of the State of Piauí. Flights on the new route will be carried out on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays, using Airbus A320 model aircraft, with capacity for 174 passengers.
Customers departing from Teresina heading to Confins will be able to travel smoothly to the capital of Minas Gerais, Belo Horizonte. Arriving in BH, you will be able to discover a city with several tourist attractions, such as Lagoa da Pampulha, the Mineirão Stadium, the Mines and Metal Museum and many other unmissable places. It is worth highlighting Minas Gerais cuisine, one of the most famous in Brazil, which pleases the most full of palates, with delicacies and typical dishes, such as tutu, chicken with okra, tropeiro beans, dulce de leche, goiabada cascão, Minas cheese and the much acclaimed bread of cheese.
Furthermore, from Confins airport it is possible to access international routes, such as Curaçao, an island located in the Caribbean, and the airports of Fort Lauderdale and Orlando, in the United States.
