Hardware configuration relies on a dual-lens setup. A fixed 3K camera maintains constant watch over a designated zone, while a second 3K lens handles 360-degree coverage with pan, tilt, and zoom capabilities. Full-color night vision equips the system to spot individuals, animals, and the color of suspicious vehicles in low-light conditions.

Motorized Spotlight and AI Motion Detection Capabilities
Unlike traditional security cameras that passively record, the U2 Pro takes a proactive approach to outdoor monitoring. The targeted light shines directly on a moving target, even as someone is running across the property, and the illumination also assists with after-hours activities such as taking the dog out.
Full-color night vision is specifically designed to help identify people, animals, and the color of a suspicious vehicle. Using AI-powered analysis,
the device delivers movement notifications accompanied by descriptions and summaries that differentiate between vehicles, pets, people, and events like parcel drop-offs. It can also ignore irrelevant movement, such as tree branches blowing in the wind, and recurring activity so as not to overwhelm the user with notifications.
Power Management and Setup Logistics
According to Baseus, mounting the U2 Pro to either a ceiling or wall takes approximately two minutes. The unit connects wirelessly to a home network and features a rechargeable battery rated for up to 150 days of use, although that duration may be reduced depending on property activity.
To support continuous operation, an included 3W solar panel can be mounted atop the cameras or a short distance away to ensure adequate sun exposure. Just 40 minutes of sun exposure generates enough power for a full day’s use. Footage can be retrieved remotely via the Baseus application, and smart displays powered by Google Home or Amazon Alexa also support real-time monitoring feeds.
