The CAF Disciplinary Jury met on Tuesday to deliberate on the incidents that occurred at the Ahmadou Ahidjo stadium in Yaoundé following the matches of the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations Egypt – Morocco and Senegal – Equatorial Guinea.

The Disciplinary Panel imposed sanctions on players as well as Egyptian and Moroccan officials for misconduct
Officials of the aforementioned match said in their reports that at the end of the match, there were altercations between Egyptian assistant coach Rogerio Paulo Dos Santos Cesar De Sa and the president of the Moroccan Federation Mr. Faouzi Lekjaa. A general fight ensued during which the Moroccan player Sofiane Boufal and the Egyptian player Marwan Mostafa Daoud were identified.

The CAF Disciplinary Jury has charged the players of the Senegalese and Equatorial Guinean federations following verbal and physical tampering during the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations match.
The CAF Disciplinary Jury has decided:
• to call Senegalese players Saliou Ciss and Keita Belda to order following their regrettable behavior at the end of the match.
• to call the Equatorial Guinean players Ivan Edu and Emilio Nsue to order following their regrettable behavior at the end of the match.
• to suspend the Equatoguinean player Estaban Orosco for two matches in any official CAF competition.
• to impose a fine of USD 5,000 on the Equatoguinean Football Federation
