When it is sunny, training and matches will be held as normal. But when the weather gets heavy and there is rain then buckets, towels and anything else that can hold the water will come out.
In this case, “K. Petropoulos” necessarily due to ineligibility will be closed with what impact there may be for the teams, who will be out of the rhythm of training and games in a critical period, as the championships are in progress.
How long will this be in effect? For as long as necessary until the season is over and then the decision has been made to give a final solution.

The administration of PEAK has decided to seal the roof with a special membrane, with the chairman of the Steering Committee, George Antonopoulos, emphasizing:
“We know the problem and it has been evaluated. We know what needs to be done to provide a definitive solution. A solution so that the roof in K. Petropoulos is guaranteed never to concern us again for 10 years. A special membrane will be placed. We’ll just have to wait for the critical match commitments of the teams using it to pass. But when it rains it will be closed for safety reasons. An open tender has been launched to run the procedures. I believe that at the end of March the damage restoration work will begin.”
THERE IS ONE BIG QUESTION MARK
Of course, a big question mark arises: for example, what will happen if it rains on the weekend when important matches are scheduled to be held in “K. Petropoulos”?
Because with rain again it will drip everywhere and it will be impossible to host games there. So another solution should be sought. Also if it rains for 5-6 days, it will not be the best for the teams to stay out of training and go from match to match. All of these are issues that sooner or later will concern both the administration of PEAK and the teams that use K.Petropoulos.
