CAD files show new “iPhone 15 Pro” buttons

One of the rumors that, if confirmed, will represent one of the biggest novelties of the next top-of-the-line iPhones is related to the buttons of the appliances. According to speculation and patents, the volume and side buttons of the devices will no longer be physical and will have haptic feedback, like the Home button on some iPhones with Touch ID.

Now more CAD filesComputer aided designor computer-aided design.”>1 were shown in a video on Douyin, the Chinese version of TikTok, which corroborate previous rumors that pointed to a unified volume button that will work through haptic feedback.

We can also see that the traditional ring/silent switch — present on iPhones since the original model — will also be replaced by a button, which will apparently work with finger pressure.

It is worth remembering that this novelty is expected only for the most advanced models of the line. The entry-level iPhones should continue with the physical buttons we know today — which could certainly be a way to differentiate (even more) the devices. The cheapest, however, should win the Dynamic Island (Dynamic Island).

Other rumors include other differentials for the Pro model beyond the existing ones, such as thinner screen bezels and a brighter display. In addition, the new iPhones should finally gain USB-C ports, as seen in an image, although the entry may still have the MFi seal.
