Philadelphia Flyers general manager Chuck Fletcher has said the career of Quebec defender Samuel Morin is over.
The 26-year-old defender has a recurring knee problem that he can’t fix.

Additionally, Fletcher announced that Mike Yeo will not be his club’s head coach in 2022-23.
Yeo had been the Flyers’ interim head coach since the dismissal of Alain Vigneault on December 6. The 48-year-old was previously one of the Quebecers’ assistants behind the Pennsylvania club bench.
The new unemployed maintained a record of 17-36-7 with the Flyers. They finished their regular season with a 25-46-11 record and ranked 29th overall in the National Hockey League (NHL).
Prior to joining the Flyers, Yeo was the head coach of the Minnesota Wild (2011-2016) and the St. Louis Blues (2016-2018). He also served as an assistant with the Pittsburgh Penguins (2006-2010).
