London – Preparations for the carol singing competition ‘Carol Feast 2023’, jointly organized by the student movement of the Jacobite Syrian Christian Church UK and the MSOC UK media wing, are nearing completion. The 9th edition of the Carol Feast, which started in 2014, will be held on Saturday 09 December at St Joseph Jacobite Syriac Orthodox Church, Redditch.
Carol Banquet 2023 UK Patriarch Vicar Isaac More Ostathios Metropolitan will inaugurate. Bhadrasana Council Vice President Fr Rajucheruvalli Secretary Fr Ebin Marcos Treasurer Shibi Chepanath Redditch Parish Priest Fr Eldo Rajan Church officials, Bhadrasana Council officials, non-clerical church representatives etc. will offer greetings.
Spectacular cash awards and trophies await the winners of the carol singing competition, which features teams from around 20 churches across the UK. The winners will receive 1st prize of 701 pounds and an ever-rolling trophy, 2nd prize of 501 pounds and an ever-rolling trophy, and 3rd prize of 301 pounds and an ever-rolling trophy. The carol feast where about 500 people will gather will also be the Midlands meeting of the children of the Jacobite Church. Father Eldos Vattaparambi said on behalf of the organizing committee that they should pray for the beautiful conduct of the carol feast and be a blessing to the Holy Church.
