Asthenia refers to a state of intense and abnormal fatigue which tends to persist despite rest. And its causes are very varied. Here are the diseases that can cause such general weakness.
A viral or bacterial infection
Viral infectious diseases, such as influenza, infectious mononucleosis, Covid-19, or even hepatitis C, as well as diseases caused by bacteria – angina, otitis, pneumonia, pyelonephritis, tuberculosis, Lyme disease – can cause asthenia.
A psychological disorder

Anemia
