The CGEM organized, today in Ifrane, a meeting of the general presidents and vice-presidents of the CGEM Regions, in the presence of members of its Bureau and its Parliamentary Group.
This event on the theme “inter-territory synergies for the promotion of sustainable investment and job creation” aimed to breathe new life into the CGEM Regions, so that they fully play their role in the promotion of private investment and the acceleration of socio-economic development across all territories, in harmony with the action of the CGEM Nationale and the ambitions set.
This meeting, chaired by the pair, Chakib Alj and Mehdi Tazi, was also an opportunity to determine the actions to be undertaken to further encourage entrepreneurship and job creation by taking into consideration the assets of each region and inter-territory complementarities, and actively support the positive momentum that our country is experiencing, marked by the ongoing deployment of the mechanisms of the Investment Charter, in particular that linked to TPME, the operationalization of the Mohammed VI Fund for Investment and the organization of major sporting events in 2025 and 2030, we read in a press release from the employers’ confederation.
Among the themes discussed during this conclave: priority levers to boost investment in the region, in particular those linked to the business climate, the establishment of a territorial offer, the improvement of the Business-Administration relationship and digitalization, public-private partnerships as a driver of development, as well as the mechanisms to be put in place to promote synergies between regions.
At the end of this meeting, a road map was also established in order to provide the CGEM Regions with more tools to support and strengthen proximity with their members, to create more bridges between the CGEM Regions, the Federations, the Commissions and the CGEM Group in the Chamber of Advisors and to expand the Confederation’s service offering.
