This Sunday the Government submitted a new report about the situation of the pandemic in our country. Thus, 3,057 new infections of covid-19 were reported.
Meanwhile, the country’s positivity in the last 24 hours is 4.66%, while in the Metropolitan region it is 4.73%. The regions with the highest positivity in the last week are O’Higgins, Ñuble, Araucanía and Bío Bío.
Regarding the new cases, 1,593 correspond to symptomatic people and 567 are asymptomatic. In addition, 897 Positive PCR tests were registered that were not notified.
In this way, the total number of cases in the country reaches 3,512,020, of which 15,837 patients are in the active stage.
Regarding the people who have died from causes related to the disease, 44 deaths were reported this Sunday, leaving a national total of 57,041.
On the other hand, 423 people are in Intensive Care Units. Of these, 316 are supported by mechanical ventilation. In the Integrated Health Network, there are a total of 345 critical beds available for patients in the country.
The Laboratory Network and diagnostic capacity reported the results of 62,442 PCR tests and antigen tests, reaching a total of 36,115,860 analyzed nationwide to date. The positivity for the last 24 hours at the country level is 4.66% and in the Metropolitan Region it is 4.73%.
Finally, there are 33 Health Residences, with a total of 3,073 beds. The actual occupation at the national level is 30%, leaving a total of 1,813 beds available for use.
