The president of the Dendermonde court of first instance, seized for summary proceedings following a unilateral request from Conner Rousseau, prohibited the publication by the VTM channel and the newspaper Het Laatste Nieuws of an article on alleged racist statements by the president Flemish socialists. I had drunk too much, but I remember these exchanges being friendly and humorous“, defended the president of Vooruit. The politician, among the most popular in Flanders, then went to court to have its publication banned. The media will respect this decision, but they are exploring “all legal possibilities” in order to be able to publish their work.
