American singer and actress Courtney Love has accused Brad Pitt of losing her role in the 1999 movie “Fight Club”.
The actress said in an interview on the WTF podcast that after turning down Pitt’s offer, she received a phone call from the film’s director letting her know that she had been fired from the project, adding, “He fired me because I didn’t let Brad play Kurt.”
A source close to the film revealed to the British Daily Mail newspaper that in 1999 Courtney Love auditioned for a role in Fight Club, but the role was not offered to her at all, and therefore she could not be fired from a job she did not get.
