Broward County authorities in South Florida USAinvestigate a shooting happened last nightwhich left one dead and two injured, local media reported.
The case occurred around 10:30 p.m. outside a house in Pompano Beachnorth of Miami, due to circumstances that are still being investigated.
Upon arrival at the scene, after receiving an alert, elements of the local police and firefighters found three people on the ground with gunshot wounds, so they transferred them to a hospital.
At the health center, one of the injured was declared dead.
Authorities have not released the identities of the victims, nor information about possible suspects.
A neighbor who preferred to remain anonymous told the channel NBC6 what did you hear at least 20 shots which sounded like a broadside and, immediately, he went to cover his children inside the house.
The authorities have requested the collaboration of the residents who can provide information that may help to arrest the person(s) responsible for the shooting.
