British musical group Depeche Mode announced on its Twitter regarding the death of keyboardist and one of the founders of the band Andy Fletcher. The musician was 60 years old, the cause of death is not reported.
“We are shocked and filled with overwhelming sadness at the untimely death of our dear friend, family member and bandmate Andy Fletcher,” Depeche Mode said in a statement. The band members noted that Andy Fletcher was a man with a big heart, and expressed their condolences to his family.
Andy Fletcher founded his first band in the late 70s. After Dave Gahan joined the team, it was renamed Depeche Mode.
