The Grand Canyon has become the most Instagrammed World Heritage site in the world with over 4.3 million hashtags. Italy’s Amalfi Coast is in second place with over 3.7 million hashtags.
Istanbul became the most discussed heritage city on Instagram with over 124.3 million hashtags. Rome, home to many iconic landmarks such as the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain, came in second place, followed by European city Prague in third place with 18.5 million hashtags.
