Disney+ Original Series Breaks Viewership Records Globally Within 3 Days of Release

Three days after its November 3 release, the Disney+ original series Remarriage & Desires drew the highest viewership for any local original title on the platform globally, ACROFAN reported.

Navier accepts a notice of divorce from Emperor Sovieshu (Ju Ji-hoon), who has fallen for the runaway slave Rashta (Lee Se-young). In response to the decree, Navier demands approval for her remarriage to Heinrey (Lee Jong-suk), the prince of the Western Kingdom.

Streaming Records Across Fifty Markets

Within its initial three days on the platform, the series claimed the number one spot among Korean titles released across more than fifty markets worldwide. Those territories include the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Spain, Germany, Mexico, Chile, Australia and New Zealand (ANZ), and Canada.

The production relies on expansive set design for the Eastern Empire and Western Kingdom, paired with lavish costume design and a sweeping musical score. The narrative kicks off with the rift that begins with Emperor Sovieshu’s change of heart, setting up intersecting conflicts of love and desire among the four lead characters across the first four episodes.
