Dozens of people from the Nyanga province brought under the baptismal font “Ditasse”, an associative platform which aims to be a laboratory of ideas to contribute to the development of this south-western part of the country which is almost devoid of everything.
“It is time to stand up as one man to build together our province which is completely lacking in infrastructure, particularly banks, production companies and higher education institutions, to name just a few,” launched Yolande Koumba, president of Ditasse.
For Ditasse, which means Ipunu in the local language, “thought or reflection”, no development can be possible without the involvement of the children of the province. For her, it is a question of being a real force of proposals with the highest authorities of the Committee for the Transition and Restoration of Institutions (CTRI).
“There will not be enough voices to speak until we begin a dynamic of development in this province. And what do we want within the association? We have a lot of executives who are in Libreville, who are in private administrations, who are in public administrations who can be spokespersons for the authorities.”made clear Juliette Loemba Bayonne, Secretary General of the platform.
Ditasse, whose credo is “a glimmer of renewed hope”, hopes that the economic potential of Nyanga will finally be exploited like the deep water port of Mayumba. The province contains riches such as iron, copper, gold, diamonds, barite, sulfur, marble, oil and wood.
The platform did not fail to present its honorary members, notably the Prophet Beni Ngoua Mbina and the Prophet Israel.
