In its daily bulletin on the epidemiological situation, the ministry also specified that the number of first-timers reached 24,919,673, that of people who received two doses amounted to 23,420,843, while 6,874,703 people received received three injections of the vaccine and 59,746 received the fourth dose.
The new infection toll brings the total number of contaminations since the first case reported in Morocco on March 02, 2020 to 1,272,207, while the number of recovered people has increased to 1,255,818, i.e. a recovery rate of 98, 7%.
The new cases of infection have been identified in the regions of Fez-Meknes (03), Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (03) and Grand Casablanca-Settat (02).
The total number of deaths is still 16,296 (lethality 1.3%), with zero cases recorded in the last 24 hours.
Active cases number 93, while severe or critical cases have reached two in the past 24 hours, bringing their total to two.
