Renowned Bethesda designer Emil Pagliarulo, who has worked on all of the studio’s games, starting with additions for Morrowind, spoke regarding Atomic Heart. In his opinion, the shooter is practically no different from the recently released High on Life:
Atomic Heart and High on Life are essentially the same game. Just one is Russian and the other is American. I know it’s a rather strange comparison, but “fun skirmishes on the run with some of your gear in a first-person game” is pretty rare. It’s very difficult to implement, you need great dialogue and chemistry between the characters. They succeeded.
Well, such an answer indicates that Emil at least played Atomic Heart and was satisfied with the dialogues between Major Nechaev and HRAZ.
