TikTok, the Chinese short video app, is increasingly controversial. Western security services fear that Beijing is spying on them through this app. Result: TikTok is banned by many institutions, like the European Parliament which prohibits this network on professional devices. And a bill being considered in Congress might even lead to its complete ban in the United States.
