In its statement, the company quoted everyone’s confirmation that “the series “For Death”, which was shown for two seasons in Ramadan 2021 and Ramadan 2022, and is still with pride and gratitude the people’s talk, was brought by the writer Nadine Jaber and presented to the producer Jamal Sinan years ago, without the need for a mediator or a third party, Together, they, accompanied by director Philip Asmar, agreed to implement it, after making some modifications in the content of his story and the names of his characters, under the supervision of the Eagle Films team concerned only.

The statement added: “It was initially intended that the series would be produced outside Ramadan, but then it was decided that “Death” would be the company’s winning horse in the Ramadan competition, so work began on implementing the project.

He continued, “After consultations between the producer, director and writer, the women’s championship was assigned to the two stars, Maguy Bogson and Daniela Rahma, and an agreement was reached with them, and the work process proceeded normally. Its aim is to mislead, which is opaque and unprofessional.”

And the statement added, “Eagle Films, which has dealt with the most important stars of the Arab world, and which has the best relations with all the stars and curators of the dramatic and cinematic market, assures that it will continue to follow the same approach and work with high professionalism in respect of the profession’s principles.”

The company concluded its statement: “We used to not respond to abuse and lies, but this time for the first and last time, out of respect for public opinion, in the face of slander.”

It is reported that actress Cyrine Abdel Nour said that the role of Sahar, which actress Maguy Bou Ghosn embodied in the series “To Death”, was supposed to be her.

She explained the details in an interview with “ET in Arabic”, where she said: “The name of the first character was Lama, but I chose the name of Sahar for her. I was offered the role at that time by producer Ziad Choueiri, as he was offered to Nadine Al-Rassi and Ward Al Khal after me.”

And she continued, “I learned at the time that Choueiri was suffering from financial problems with regard to the issue of production, so Ibri contacted the owner of “Eagle Films”, producer Jamal Sinan, and matters led to the role being given to actress Maguy Bou Ghosn.

Abdel Nour also pointed out that the name of the series was “Gemini” and not “Death”, and I was supposed to meet in it with Daniela Rahma, “The surprise for me was that it was prepared for Ramadan with Maguy Bou Ghosn and Daniela Rahma.”

And she commented on what happened, saying: “Everything is a division and a share, and if I had been given this job, I would have gotten the role no matter what happened,” noting that she had reached the conviction that the work was not destined to be for her, and Bou Ghosn succeeded in it: “Maybe she was I need him more than me, and congratulations.”
