ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – A person is dead and a teenager is injured after a shooting at a southwest Atlanta apartment complex early Saturday morning, according to police.
Police were called to the Reserve at Birch Creek off Campbellton Road just after 3 a.m. They found one male victim between the ages of 16 and 20 dead at the scene, while a 16-year-old boy was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital with a gunshot wound to the arm, police said. He is expected to recover.
Police appear to be centering their investigation around building Q. The circumstances of the shooting are unknown, and no suspects have been named.
