Aston Martin F1 reserve driver Felipe Dolgovic has revealed that he had a meeting with Red Bull F1 motorsport advisor Dr Helmut Marko after winning the F2 title.
Felipe Dolgovic from Brazil will win the championship with one round left in 2022. He surpassed rivals such as Alfa Romeo development driver Theo Prussier and Williams F1 debutant Logan Sargent.
Felipe Dragovic, who was announced as the first driver in the new Aston Martin ‘academy’ in September, made his F1 Grand Prix weekend debut in FP1 at the season finale in Abu Dhabi.

Formula 1 teams often give drivers the opportunity at their home circuits for F1’s mandatory rookie FP1 runs.
However, the nature of the sprint weekend with short practice times made the opportunity to drive in front of the home crowd at Interlagos impossible for Felipe Dolgovic.
“It would have been the wrong option,” admitted Felipe Dolgovit.
“None of the teams are going to give up free practice just before qualifying. Of course, it would be great if they could do that.”
