New Delhi: India’s ODI World Cup team is expected to be decided today. It is reported that Ajit Agarkar, the head of the Indian Cricket Control Board (BCCI) selection committee, has finalized the ODI team in a discussion with the management in Sri Lanka.
It is indicated that Sanju Samson has no place in the 15-member list of the ODI World Cup. Meanwhile, KL Rahul has been selected. Agarkar had informed during the announcement that the ODI World Cup team will be similar to the Asia Cup team.
Sanju was also included in the 17-member Asia Cup squad as Rahul’s backup. Two men from the Asia Cup squad will have to be left out for the World Cup. It is reported that Tilak Verma and Prasham Krishna will be left out of the team. Yuzvendra Chahal is also not in the team.
