SEGA and Sports Interactive launched a free preview for Football Manager 27 on October 30, 2026, giving players unrestricted access across multiple platforms ahead of the full November 11 release.
SEGA and Sports Interactive Open Free Preview Access
Football fans can test the upcoming simulation title right now. SEGA and Sports Interactive made the FM27 Launch Preview freely playable across Steam, Epic, the Microsoft Store, Xbox Game Pass, and PC Game Pass without requiring any additional sign-up.
Our #FM27 Free Launch Preview is here 🙌Play Football Manager 27 for free now on PC/Mac across Steam, Microsoft Store, Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass.
While free weekends typically arrive months after a game debuts, this release arrives just weeks before the official launch. The preview replaces older beta or advanced access formats, serving as a build closer in quality and finality to the retail version hitting stores next month. Because it functions as a preview rather than paid early access via a Deluxe Edition, users can jump straight into the action without purchasing a specialized tier.
Platform Access Rules and Timeline
The free trial period runs until 6pm GMT on November 3, 2026.
Pre-purchasing from the Xbox Store specifically ensures that users retain access to the Launch Preview following the free play period starting from November 3.
Career Continuity and Features Included
Crucially, all career saves developed during the free play window carry over into the paid preview and the full release without forcing users to restart their saves, provided they remain on the same platform.
Developers noted that because this build serves as a preview, users might encounter occasional bugs and glitches that the development team will work to address in future updates.
Additionally, the current version contains information still undergoing approval processes by right holders, which means some data may not fully reflect real-world status at this time. Consequently, certain club and player assets might be absent during this preliminary phase.
Global Launch Schedule for Football Manager 27
The complete game officially launches on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Mac on November 11, 2026, and will also arrive via Netflix’s games platform.
