for the first time in more than three years, the Belgian government will issue State bonds!

State notes, which are intended for private investors, were traditionally issued about four times a year. However, low interest rates diminished their appeal, and the last issuance was in March 2019. A ten-year government bond then had an interest rate of 0.55% and yielded just under $100. 4 million euros.

The show will take place on June 4. Two State bonds will be offered to the public: one for 5 years and the other for 10 years. For each of them, the rate will be fixed this Friday, May 20. The subscription period will run from Tuesday May 24 to Friday June 3 inclusive, with payment of funds on Tuesday June 7.
