‘Force Poken’ is the last title of Luminous Productions, a developer under Square Enix, and was released on PS5 in January. It has been released on PC. The DLC ‘In Tanta Wee Trust’, which was released on the 30th, was previously released prior to the release of the main game, and plans to find users in May.
‘In Tanta We Trust’ is set 25 years ago from the main character’s journey in the main game, and predicts a story that unfolds around ‘Tanta Shinta’. In addition, new magic is added and the plan is to provide a strategy that goes beyond the battle of the main story.
In this regard, keeping the previously planned DLC schedule despite the closure of the developer is definitely positive news, but it is unclear whether a reversal can occur in the box office slump experienced by the main game ‘Force Poken’.
On the 30th, ‘Force Poken’ in Steam remained at the ‘composite’ index with 59% of the 3,400 users evaluating the game positively, and the interest received from users, such as the maximum number of daily users of 370, is significantly decreasing. It seems that the DLC release will raise interest in the game again, but it is true that there is a rather long way to go before seeking a reversal in the recent situation.
Meanwhile, the ‘Force Forkken’ story expansion DLC ‘In Tanta Wee Trust’ will be officially released on May 26th, and game deluxe edition purchasers will be able to see the contents in advance from May 23rd.
