Artist Wael Jassar participated in the “Zaman” program with media personality Raghida Shalhoub on LBCI.
Shalhoub asked her guest regarding his married life, where he talked regarding his wife and the mother of his children, Mireille, with whom he shares great love.
Wael explained that he met Mireille in his early twenties and that she was almost the same age as him.
He also raised the issue of different religions, as he is a Muslim while Mireille is a Christian, declaring that she converted to Islam for his sake, and that he was the person who asked her to change her religion for his sake.
He continued that Mireille began to follow Muslim traditions and fast during the holy month of Ramadan, and that they taught their children regarding the two religions.(lbci)
