Indonesian singers Gio Lelaki and Faizal Lubis released an English song from their latest collaboration entitled London Has Cried on Friday, March 22 2024.
In a press statement, quoted Monday (25/3), the collaboration began with a contest around the song All My Love, which was held by Faizal Lubis via his personal Instagram account on January 30 2024.
“Whoever answers correctly will get a cellphone prize from Faizal Lubis and Fabis Musik,” he wrote at the time.
Beyond Faizal’s expectations, the quiz upload caught the attention of his followers and many answered correctly. From the many answers Faizal received, five participants were selected who successfully answered his quiz and also sang a cover of the song All My Love well.

Therefore, Fabis Musik took the initiative to record the voices of the five participants together with Faizal Lubis singing the song All My Love with a different arrangement.
As a result, the vocal character of Gio Lelaki, one of the selected participants in the All My Love quiz, caught Faizal’s attention.
According to Faizal, Gio’s vocal character is very suitable for singing the song London Has Cried, a song that he had previously recorded.

From there, this collaboration was successfully carried out and released. Initially, the song London Has Cried had a free pop feel, but it changed to the pop rock genre because it was adapted to Gio’s vocal character.
