Two weeks before the release of Season 4 of Halo Infinite, 343 Industries has lifted the veil on some of its content, including the long-awaited progression system which will finally be available on June 20th.

Lots of new things!

On the occasion of the Halo Championship Series in Dallas, the developers shared the competition on Twitch, but also took advantage of the event to show some small extracts of what will await players in a few days.

Rebs Gaming, a Twitter user, shared the few videos to learn more about the next upcoming map, the progression system, the Quantum Translocator, the Threat Seeker and the long-awaited Infection mode!

The Infection is finally back!

Regarding the latter, the short extract unsurprisingly reveals that Iratus is the source of the infection and that those concerned will be equipped with a red energy sword. For their part, the Spartans will defend themselves with a Bulldog and a Commando until they are infected in turn, unless they resist long enough and be victorious.

Season 4 introduces two new accessories

As surprising as it may seem, this season will enrich the fights with the arrival of two accessories, including the Quantum Translocator. This first equipment makes it possible to place a beacon in a given place, then to teleport there at any time, for example in the event of danger.

For its part, the Threat Seeker is of a very different nature since it aims to identify enemies in a given area. Unlike the Threat Sensor, the Threat Seeker is like a grenade that can bounce, in addition to having a much longer range.

The progression system is here!

Claimed by players for almost two years, the Spartans will finally be able to show off by displaying their ranks. Like Halo Reach, the system will consist of military ranks. 343 Industries gives a little preview of the emblems and confirms that there will be rewards to be won.

The Forest card is revealed on video

In addition to all these clearly welcome new features, Season 4 of Halo Infinite will allow you to discover an Arena map full of greenery. Soberly called Forest, this battlefield brings a bit of variety and is reminiscent of certain Halo 2 environments.

All of this will be revealed on June 20, when Halo Infinite Season 4 will be released. Multiplayer is available for free on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store.
